What is Coaching?

Coaching is a form of guiding an individual or a group on how to develop skills to enhance specific areas of their life.

Our clients come to us seeking support to reach goals related to mental and emotional wellness, physical health, and professional achievements. These include, but are not limited to:

How is Coaching Different From Therapy?

Mental health therapy often focuses on past experiences and the ways in which an individual processes these experiences internally. Coaching acknowledges an individual’s experience, but places an emphasis on forward momentum through tools such as individualized goal creation and achievement plans.

Coaching does not provide:

  • mental health or psychiatric diagnoses

  • mental health or psychiatric treatment

  • Couple’s therapy or counseling

  • Trauma-processing and healing

  • Addiction counseling

  • Crisis support services

Many clients benefit from receiving coaching in addition to therapy with an outside provider. Feel free to ask your Coach any additional questions during your free consultation.

    We value our ability to meet you where you are and provide “Out of the Box” support tailored to your specific needs. Through 1:1 Coaching Sessions, we will help you build a bridge between where you are now and where you would like to be.
